Education

 Your donation funds educational programs and extracurricular activities to help young inner city girls get off to the right start.  A solid foundation in education is key to success later in life.

Leadership

Young ELITE International Program Participants develop leadership skills through lessons that focus on the College and Career Readiness Anchor Standards.  

Social Skills

We teach the young ladies we serve how to develop healthy relationships with others from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds.

Our Programs

These are a few of our most recent programs. Every year, we provide a variety of programs designed to help young women learn to improve the quality of their lives.

Young ELITE Program


The Young ELITE Columbus school program consists of 20 weeks of exciting and life changing programing. Each session lasts 45-60 minutes. Sessions can be held during lunch or the most convenient time for the school. All day sessions also available. 

Act Like A Lady - A Lesson in Social Graces


Social etiquette is becoming a lost art form.  Youth are spending more and more time in front of their televisions, gaming systems, computers or texting on their phones.  They are losing out on social interaction.  During this session participants will engage in activities to help them understand the importance of social graces. 

I Am Beautiful!


This session is designed to help participants discover and embrace what makes them beautiful.  In this age of Social Media and Photoshop, young ladies are getting a distorted image of what and who is considered to be beautiful. Students will define the true meaning of beauty and how everyone is uniquely beautiful in their own way. 

Anti-Bullying Workshop


Presenters will provide tips for youth and parents to assist them in recognizing different forms of bullying and ways to prevent it.  Youth will become empowered to fight against bullying.

Dream Big


"Dream Big"provides practical yet powerful tools to transform student dreams into reality.  Students draft a "Life Plan" of who they desire to be in the future.  Participants will have an opportunity to articulate his/her vision statement and life plan. 

Human Trafficking


Presenters provide tips for youth, parents, educators and community leaders to begin an interactive dialogue about sex trafficking that is engaging, educational and thought provoking.  Human trafficking is becoming increasingly more common.  Could you spot a victim of human trafficking? Would you know what to do if someone you know was being trafficked? We will address these questions and more, including how to raise awareness of sex trafficking.
